In 1990 Marvin and Lillie bought a 34' bounder motor home. We considered retiring and tHanson Travels in our Bounder Motorhomeaking up the life of full time living and traveling in a recreational vehicle. For the next four years we did a lot of week end travels and camping. The dream of full time living and traveling in a motor home finally materialized in 1994.

Marvin retired from the Marines in 1973 and Civil Service in 1990 began employment with a new wireless company in late 1990. The wireless company was all around excellent, customers and employees. During 1994 the wireless company merged with another company and relocated to another state. We saw this relocation as an opportunity to pursue our dream of living and traveling in a recreational vehicle.

During late 1990 we bought a printing company and Lillie became owner and president with day to day operations. The ownership is great, but the day to day operations are quite less great. The time involved in running a business turns out to be a twenty four hour proposition. When the company Marvin worked for relocated, Lillie decided to sell the printing business to one of our sons. It was not long that the turn over was completed.

Since 1994, we have visited family and friends from California to New Jersey. We traveled continuously until 1997. In 1997 we stopped at a Yogi Bear Jelly stone Park in Northern California for two weeks of relaxation. We became interested in the Park and the operation. Our interest led to employment as park managers. The time spent and the people you meet is so rewarding.

During 2004 we bought a new thirty nine foot trailer with three slide-outs "wow the difference in the room".  In August 2007, we decided to retire from managing an RV park. We moved our trailer to a senior mobile home park. We look forward to spending more time with our family.
